Our team is comprised of former military and law enforcement and can apply their unique skillsets and experience to a diverse range of missing person investigations.

Cold Case Investigations

Our investigators can assist clients in helping to solve murder, kidnapping, rape, stalker, and felony crime cases. With over 90 years of combined experience of former Local and Federal agents have a proven track record of delivering results in real life situations. The skills that we used every day in law enforcement is now at your fingertips. Our private investigators can help by revisiting officer narratives and reports and reinterviewing witnesses, family members, and police officers to compare what each person has to say. At the American Rescue Project, we have a dedicated team of cold case investigators who are experts in reexamining these cases with a fresh perspective and a modern set of investigative techniques.

Addiction

Being caught in the throes of addiction is to be caught in a state where logic, consideration, and reason are thrown out the window in exchange for the pursuit of using.  Otherwise, sound individuals will engage in irrational or out-of-character behavior, lying, stealing, cheating, and using any means possible to achieve their end.  This is one of the most hurtful symptoms of addiction.

Addicts will sometimes disappear.  It could be for a few hours, or it could be months.  It is extremely hurtful and worrisome to their loved ones.  What do you do if a friend or family member disappears? We approach every case with empathy, and work with experts and families to develop immediate and comprehensive strategies for finding your missing loved one.

Human and Sex Trafficking

The unfortunate truth is a missing person can become a victim of sex trafficking within first 72 hours of their disappearance. The underworld of “pimps” and sex traffickers use savvy recruiting procedures of a missing person by coercion or force. Sex traffickers do not adhere to boundaries with regards to sex, race, or socioeconomic background.  We know the cruel and meticulous recruiting process that “pimps” and traffickers use to force the missing into their underworld. A missing person investigator can properly assess when your child is missing and endangered and forced or lured into sex trafficking. By tracking social media and timelines, we can immediately work to locate and pursue a safe intervention and reunification for your family.

Unsolved Homicides

In such tragic events as missing loved ones, the case could evolve into an unsolved homicide. Therefore, when a loved one has gone missing under suspicion of foul play, even the best police departments can struggle with closure of unsolved homicides. We understand and bring clarity to tragic circumstances; this can play a significant role in a family’s healing process. We use verified databases and proven methodology to explore un-vetted leads, identify witnesses, and analyze crime scenes. Our final product of information will be collaborated with law enforcement, and we will work in tandem to seek justice for your family.

Missing Adults and Mental Illness

We are adept in the challenges posed by a search for missing teens and adults with mental illness. We understand the first 72 hours are critical in resolving cases of missing persons with mental illness. If necessary, we engage law enforcement and attempt to get your loved one listed as endangered at-risk. We approach every case with empathy, and work with experts and families to develop immediate and comprehensive strategies for finding your missing loved one.
