Trafficking News

Domestic Violence

Abuse is not love. It is one person in a relationship having power and control over the other person. Domestic violence takes many forms: physical; emotional; economic; stalking and harassment; and sexual.

Sexual Violence

Sexual violence is any sexual contact or behavior that happens without your consent. Other names used for sexual violence – rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Drugs and Trafficking

People with substance use issues are especially vulnerable to trauma and victimization by human traffickers. Some traffickers recruit directly from detox and addiction treatment facilities.

Gangs and Trafficking

Human trafficking is now the world’s fastest growing criminal enterprise, second only to drug trafficking and as profitable as the illegal arms trade.
